Think your writing is terrible? This is your chance to shine!<br />
Give me the best of your WORST possible limericks!<br />
The one that makes me groan the loudest gets a prize (TBD) that I'll pick out at this weekend's Raleigh Pen Show.</p>
<p>How to enter:<br />
1. Sign in or Register for PoetryAssignment by clicking "Log in" and either entering your username & password, or clicking the link that says "register."<br />
2. Choose your assignment. Click on it, and then follow the instructions for posting.<br />
3. Write a terrible limerick!<br />
4. In the "tags" field in the right margin, be sure to include the name of the assignment and "bad limericks"<br />
5. Submit the poem & await moderation!</p>
<p>A couple of notes:<br />
By "bad," I mean cheesy, corny, punny, silly - NOT anything that violates the standard rules of what's acceptable to post here (no spam, no hatespeech, remember?)!</p>
<p>Be sure to tag your entries with both the assignment title AND with "bad limericks" to be considered for this contest! The winner will be contacted on Monday!</p>

<p>* 'Post a poem' button on assignment pages that will automatically open a post page and fill in some some the detail to link the new poem to the assignment</p>
<p>* Have the website send out a #poetryassignment tweet when anyone posts a new post or assignment</p>
