Give me the best of your WORST possible limericks!
The one that makes me groan the loudest gets a prize (TBD) that I'll pick out at this weekend's Raleigh Pen Show.
How to enter:
1. Sign in or Register for PoetryAssignment by clicking "Log in" and either entering your username & password, or clicking the link that says "register."
2. Choose your assignment. Click on it, and then follow the instructions for posting.
3. Write a terrible limerick!
4. In the "tags" field in the right margin, be sure to include the name of the assignment and "bad limericks"
5. Submit the poem & await moderation!
A couple of notes:
By "bad," I mean cheesy, corny, punny, silly - NOT anything that violates the standard rules of what's acceptable to post here (no spam, no hatespeech, remember?)!
Be sure to tag your entries with both the assignment title AND with "bad limericks" to be considered for this contest! The winner will be contacted on Monday!
